Core Flexibility And Why It Is Critical To Your Golf Swing
Golfers that have taken the time to develop their core flexibility will find that they can more successfully create power and distance with their golf swing without the risk of injury. It is your core that helps you to develop the necessary power and speed during your golf swing and if you treat it right and develop it correctly you will see much improvement in your golf game.
Put simply, your core is the middle of your body and includes your abdominals, glutes and your lower back region and it is the part of your body that is most likely to be hurt during the course of a round a golf. The reason why so many amateurs suffer from some sort of lower back injury during their playing career is that they have never taken the time to concentrate on core flexibility training or strength training to develop more power.

By stretching and strengthening these core muscles you will find that you will be able to achieve a much larger range of motion and this in turn will help you to develop more power in your golf swing.
Take some time to investigate and find a good golf exercise program and you will not be sorry; the benefits that you will see each time you head out onto the course will be reward enough for putting in the time and effort to concentrate on developing your core flexibility to its peak.
