Golf Swing Techniques - Play The Best Golf Of Your Life With This Step-By-Step System

When you watch professional golfers at a tournament or on TV, their golf swings look incredibly similar. They all have rock-solid swings taught by master teachers that take total advantage of today’s golf club and ball technology.

But what about the rest of us 27 million golfers that play the game worldwide? Should we be using the same modern golf swing techniques used by these top players? Are we really capable of developing a swing with the tempo of Ernie Els or the power of Phil Mickelson?

I say no, absolutely not. We don’t have 12 hours a day to practice with a swing guru. We don’t have a driving range in our back yard. And unfortunately, we don’t have the athletic ability or skill level to swing a club like they do.

But all is not lost. We are not condemned to a life of double bogey. We just need a different approach to learning how to play this game.

My 40+ years of experience tells me that we need a simple, step-by-step “system” upon which to build our swing. I have found a resource that teaches just that. And I know that it absolutely works. I taught the system to my son and I’ve seen the results first hand.

The golf swing techniques taught in this system are as follows:

Grip – The position of the hands on the club will affect the results that you get on every shot. I have never seen a good player with a bad grip.

Set-Up – The Set-Up may be the most important factor in determining your score. Once again, I have never seen a good player with a bad set-up.

Backswing – The Backswing is the rotation of the upper body around the spine axis away from the ball. This is a critical technique to get right. The arms and chest must turn together as a single unit.

Downswing – The Downswing is the rotation of the upper body around the spine down and through the ball. The hands are released at impact to enable a straight, powerful ball flight.

Head Position – The Head must remain as still as possible throughout the swing in order to maintain the integrity of the spine axis. This is a step that anyone can master, and it’s absolutely critical to success.

These are the components that make up the “system,” the steps that create the foundation of our golf swing. When properly executed, good golf shots result. And when a poor shot occurs, it is the result of a failure in one or more of the steps. We are in control of our golf swing. The results that we get on every shot are dependent on how well we perform each step along the way.
