CARLSBAD, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–May 30, 2006–Ashworth, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASHW), a leading designer of golf-inspired lifestyle sportswear and golf apparel, today announced it's expanded the Ashworth team of PGA Tour professionals with the addition of Nick Watney.

Prior to joining the PGA Tour in 2005, Watney, 25, was a three-time NCAA All-American and WAC Player of the Year while attending Fresno State University. In 2004, Nick won the Nationwide Tour Championship tournament earning him playing rights on the PGA Tour in 2005. Currently, Nick is ranked 67th on the PGA Tour money list and has 5 Top 25 finishes for the 2006 tour season.
